The Boy Least Likely To

Was the best part of the James Blunt concert Friday night.

Scott won tickets for the show and we were quite excited. It was a birthday present to himself.

As with any concert I attend, I only had a few complaints:

1. The doors opened at 8 pm but James didn't start playing until 10:30. Luckily, both opening acts were awesome. (Especailly TBLLT).

2. It was general admission.

3. We started out on one side of the floor but left because of the annoying woman shouting very loudly in a very annoying voice.

4. We moved to the other side only to encounter "the women who think they can dance but really can't and are really annoying about their 'dancing skills'."

5. The f#$king couple who kept PUSHING me every time I moved--even a little! There wasn't anywhere for me to go so why in hell were they pushing me?! They moved before I could smack them both.

6. James Blunt sounded exactly like his cd. Now, you have to understand something, I actually enjoy live shows in which the artist actually shows off his/her artistic talents by NOT playing their music exactly like how it sounds on their cd. I mean, if I wanted to listen to the cd, I would have just stayed home. But, it was nice to see him and be there.

My favorite part of the night was seeing The Boy Least Likely To. Oh. My. God! They were so fun and energetic on stage and the music is quite lively. Rarely are opening acts as good as or better than the headliner (It could have helped that I was slightly intoxicated, but, I don't know) but TBLLT definitely was.
