UPDATE: Music Can Change the World will incorporate two very important aspects of my life: music and politics. When and where I can, I hope to combine the two.
As with anything in life, all things must come to an end. I've been pondering for a while about the future of my blogging life, specifically on this blog. As you can tell from the posts these last few months, I have been erratic about posting and not a lot of my posts have to do with "The Gays of My Life." There are multiple reasons for this with the number one being, the gaggle is dissipating rather quickly. There are multiple reasons for this as well, with the number one reason having to do with me. I have taken down this blog once before and *almost* took it down a few months ago. I can assure you that this time it truly is the end.
I have thought long and hard about this issue and the function this blog serves. In order to better take care of my emotional and mental stability, I have found it necessary to distance myself from certain aspects of my life.
Human relationships are interesting to me; I should have gone back for that 2nd Bachelor's in Sociology. The past 5 months of my life have been very hard for me and I found out the true meaning of friendship through all of the trials life has thrown at me. In short, I have been betrayed, rejected, dismissed, plotted against, talked about, and severely hurt by many people very close to me. I have lost my faith and trust in people and have reverted back to my guarded and sheltered emotional being. This has caused a breakthrough of sorts; albeit, not a good one. I have created a living hell for myself and need to figure out how to cope with the life I have created.
That said (and since none of you want to hear about my insanity), I truly enjoy blogging and, while I am not ready to share my personal blog with the whole world, I still want to create conversations and share my opinions in this still-fascinating format known as the blogsphere. Soon, I will create a new blog to replace the two I am discarding. The primary topics will focus on the two passions in my life: music and politics. I will move some posts to the new blog so don't be annoyed when you see an old post from this blog.
Here is my dilemma now. There is a lot of damn good writing on this blog as well as some "laugh-my-ass-off stories." So, I am contemplating leaving the blog up with all the stories and comments in tact for generations of Internet(s) users to enjoy.
Maybe. I haven't really decided yet. I'll let you know when the new blog is up cause y'all will need to update your blogrolls and bookmarks! Until then, "Eat your cereal with a fork and do your homework in the dark."

5 things you gotta say:
I've always like reading your blog, even though I may not be one of the mainstays of the gaggle. I hope you keep blogging. I've enjoyed every entry.
You go guuurl... I SO *heart* you!
I'm glad you are taking care of yourself. You know that you have true friends who love you and will always support you. This is the time that you find out who the real ones are...
jenderjosh, i would gladly take you into my gaggle at any time. i do plan on still blogging, just on other things.
that one girl, thanks and i heart you too!
demdiva, thank you for being there for me; i really appreciate it.
Thanks kids!
I'm glad you're still going to exist on the blogosphere. It would be tragic elsewise.
Funny - I read this just after I created a new blog of my own - much as I love my original, I'm just feeling the need for a change these days, as well. Must be something in the air.
