It takes a village--or in my case, a gaggle

One thing I love about my boys is how much they care about my daughter. Last weekend, when I had most of my gaggle around, we started talking about her prom night. Adam mentioned how fun it would be to get her dressed and do her hair (another plus of having gay boyfriends, then I won't have to do it!).

She started talking about "her boyfriend" (which I had no clue about) and how she kissed him. This got us all started talking about her and what it would be like when she starts to date. Instead of "mom and dad" grilling the guy, it'll be me and at least four gay men asking what his intentions with our little girl are.

Of course, there are the wonderful things they've taught her: the song, "I Like Big Butts and I Cannot Lie," saying "bee-otch," how Brian gave Jesse a pain in the butt, and how people who frown are ugly.

She's going to grow up a well-rounded individual, that's for sure.
